but yess please do set up a bunch of rails and boxes
Stowe's down rail was actually set up pretty well as well as the rails at the bottom of north. The first and third tryo jumps were actually not to bad a number of days last year and the north slope jumps were pimp early season

you must have your mountains confused, the down rail at Stowe for the past two years has been the nicest urban set up I have seen in a park on the east (when it's properly groomed).
Bush had a sick down rail too, but it had a JOI jump onto it which put you down at the last 4th of the rail.
You should def check out Stowe because you have clearly NOT been there in the past few years.

Subject: Stowe early season
Never been out here early season... What are the first runs open/snowmaking is focused on 1st at Stowe. Snow up top this morning and forcasted next couple nights, I'm thinking sunrise hike up there but won't have time to roll all over.
i'd like a reply on this too... what kind of park do they have up on opening day??

turns were had last week and pretty obvious where snow is/was. for now it's nice out viva la mtb season!

sugerbush has by far the most terrible jumps on the face of the earth. Trust me I grew up skiing there. idk man there is no way in hell you can tell me that down rail was set up properly. instead of having hand picked lips that go right up to the rail, stowe would rather set them up back behind the rail so they can just come through and hit them with the cat. sure that saves time for the park crew to eat more sandwiches but it dosent equal fun for me. and as far as sugarbush goes. yea their jumps definitely shit the bed last year but except some improvements. i was talking to tony who is head of parks over there and he will even admit the jumps sucked but they are trying to switch up cat drivers and step the jumps up for this year. those guys have been working there asses off over the summer. new 28 foot single barrell down bar, 24 foot dfd rail, new c box, new wallride, and some cool ollie barrier. like i said earlier I love stowe, but not for park. all the rails are always set up terribly, its hard to lap and the jumps can be very inconsistent from day to day. sugerbush has by far the most terrible jumps on the face of the earth. not true, loon knows how to set up down rails, and id say they are far above stowe with regards to a park set up. the down rail at stowe was hardly ever properly groomed.
