Subject: How to Embed (and practice)
All of a sudden a plague of not knowing how embed videos has hit NS. So this thread is to practice for all you noobs. (yes I know it should be in site discussion but noobs only read NSG). Anywho, step by step,
1. Find the video you want on youtube, vimeo, or whatever and copy the embed code (seen on you tube on the right hand side)
2. On the new thread look above the text box, underneath the "Message:" and there's a cursive "F"
3. Click that and a new box will pop up. Paste the embed code into that box.
4. Click embed and you will see it on your text box.
Done.

Do most people actually use the fancy editor feature? I found it slowed ns down soooo much.

I am pretty sure this only works with the fancy editor turned off...I don't see any reason to have it turned on...It auto hyperlinks and embeds my threads when I have it turned off. isn't it easier just to paste in the code right into the reply box?

for some reason when i quote ppl it fucks up a bunch saying that i need to select the quoted text so i have to select the whole thing again and even then sometimes it just doesn't work so i can't reply to someones comments, lets see if it works here.
