i've been to both shops recently for boot work and definitely would not go back to alpine shop for boot work again. very unprofessional, slacked in the knowledge department, and treated me like I was an idiot.
i have worked in a shop before with a bunch of masterfit guys so i know a bit and i could tell immediately which shop was more knowledgeable.

Subject: Shop in VT that fits pro's boots
Does anyone remember a video of a shop in vermont, it was pretty recent, the shop was fitting t-wall's boots, and the person in it was talking about fitting everyone's boots from seth morrison to shane mcconkey.
Even if nobody can find the video, the shop name would be great.

They're good usually, but I've seen them do some things to some of my buddies' boots that makes me cringe.

masterfit is the biggest bullshit in bootfitting, even bigger then surefoot. It does not mean shit. The best bootfitters I know have nothing to do with masterfit.
Thats not to say that all 'masterfit' certified fiters are bad, it just means that they are not necessarily good. Same goes for surefoot. I have seen some shitty stuff come out of surefoot (cough*whstler*cough)

strongly disagree. They are not terrible, but theyve broken one of my bindings before (that is, before i started mounting my own skis) and they completely misfit my friend into boots last year. Alpine shop is better.

i got the same boots fit in the same spot at the same shop, Except mine are size 28.5 and hi were 25.5, TWall has little hobbit feet.
