I've had a great time browsing and deleting threads on NS recently.
Deleting mostly. Just to save me some time and aggravation, lets go
over a few things you may have missed when you clicked "sign me up!"
I've put them into two categories, for your convenience.
Perma-banned (I will not heed any plea's you may make, period)
This crap threatens the site as a whole. As in, your post and content could make NS receive a huge fine or shutdown. If you post something like this, you must really be a huge deserving cockmaster of the ban you are about to be endowed.
- Porn. No tits. No vagoo. If we find it in a cult, cults over, I'll ban the leaders and subordinates.
- Pedophilia. Legal in Angola, not on NS. Includes 'Jailbait' threads, you'll both go to hell and receive a ban.
- Sale of illegal substances. Weed. Booze. Drugs. Should go without saying, but honestly, you wanna know whats been ending up in our deleted threads?
Temporary Ban (I may heed plea's you may make, possibly)

Before posting, just ask yourself "Am I posting something that will truly spark intelligent discussion and comments? Or am I just posting that video that I've finally gotten around to seeing? I mean, all of NS users must be introverted 'ski only' web surfers, right?"

Oh, not trying to be a dick or anything, but you have a spelling error in your username. "Shredder" is the correct spelling I believe. This doesn't seem too professional.
I didn't know, for example, that a "jailbait" thread deserves a perma ban. I did find it kinda disgusting. However, there are some jailbait pics in the motivational posters thread that are still there as far as I know... Thanks to this thread it is very clear what warrants a ban. Luckily no real surprises. This means I must not be completely retarded.
Usually I'd try to lighten the mood in a thread like this by making some snide comment about cheap liquor, hookers, or Ryno, but I'm not going to do that this time..... because I'm with Rowen 100% here.
I've seen NS go to hell every summer for..... awhile now, but it's getting out of hand. Plus the site's a lot bigger than it used to be back when I joined, which means BS in the forums carries a lot more weight outside NS than it used to..... and following the rules isn't that damn hard either. I highly doubt most of your lives are as much of an intellectual cesspool as NSG can get to be around this time of year, so I really don't know who or what breeds all of the dumb I keep seeing........

Okay, well, I was going to make a thread on this, but I think this will be looked at more since it's already stickied.
Great job for "protecting" newschoolers from stupid posts, trolls, and bad threads. Recently there was a thread about racism, and I think that thread was awesome. Great ideas were shared, and there was a legitimate discussion about beliefs, thoughts, and how it affects everyone of us. That thread was recently deleted. Why? No idea. The "N" bomb wasn't dropped. Usually it would have been in a thread like that, but I think this thread did a big part of keeping it out of there by people then using "n*****", and other variations like that. How is that offensive? There was nothing offensive being aimed toward anyone, or any particular group of people. If there was an offensive post, then remove that ONE post. Don't just delete a good thread over a few stupid posts.
I have seen this happen to several threads that shouldn't have been deleted, but they should have been MODERATED by MODS. Not deleted, thats the easy way out. Delete individual posts so more people can carry on their discussion and not have it wrecked by a ridiculous post or two.
If the Mod's aren't willing to do that, I will gladly be able to do that for them then.

We had complaints to admins about that thread, so it got the axe. When a thread starts creating personal attacks via PM, its hard to "moderate" it into civility. Believe me, there is so much running behind the scenes that the average newschooler doesnt see that its better to just take the inconsistencies and 'unfair' deletions without a lot of protest. I think it was a good thing to take down the racism thread, and honestly - all the power to nomensteven for recognizing what was happening and requesting it be deleted. It started out alright but then some very offensive and racist comments started flying around from members who i shall refrain from naming. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but if you're opinion is purposely hurtful and hateful towards a specific group of people as outlined in the NS rules....then that shit can't be allowed to stay posted.
