For those not in the Sunapee cult here's some of the chatter

"Alright I'm starting this new thread to get the scoop on what you cats
think we can improve on next year. Overall I get the feeling that
jumps need the biggest improvement, correct? Our expert park groomer,
aka Matty Kelly went to cutter's camp at Snow this past April. He
learned alot of techniques and tips so I'm pumped for what he'll make
next year. Hopefully you'll see much improved jumps. What were we
lacking in jumps last season?
Right now Elliot Slope is going to be turned into a small feature park
with some tiny jumps and rollers. There might be some surface level
metal for the kiddies but that is under discussion right now. The idea
is to move some of the joey traffic over there so Pipeline can be a bit
more advanced starting from the top. I'm sure there will still be
snaking going on but hopefully it won't be as bad.
No park pass....
We're purchasing a couple t-boxes for next season and we are working on
a deal right now to bring in a hubba setup so hopefully that will fly.
At the moment we are planning to cut an 8ft half-pipe with the Zaugg on
Eastside. The past few years we've been using the groomer blade to
shape all of Eastside and this year we are going to try and turn the
shallow bowl that's been there into a full-up 8 footer. We think the
exposure on that trail will allow for both walls to soften so it may be
a perfect trail for a pipe. Time will tell.
We're working on a new park name, any suggestions? "

"I see you guys found my thread finally, good. Jump lines are the
biggest thing that should be changing this year. We plan on having
split lips on all of the jumps to give you an option and we'll start
with probably a 5 or 10 footer and go up to 35 feet in increments of 5'
on Pipeline. Jetstream will have 30'+ all the way down with split
lips. Our park groomer did the Mt Snow cutters camp so the angles
should be better. We also are going to make the trannies longer and
steeper.
Chances are that the QP will be on Eastside... we may have one in the
main park but with the pipe on Eastside and the pipe cutter needing to
be close by we might not be able to have a QP in both areas. BUT, the
pipe will be soft all day because of the way it faces so we hopefully
won't have an ice taco so we have to take the bad with the good.
New rails this year are a couple 10' - 20' flat t-rails, a new c-box
t-rail, and we'll have a new flat box that is probably 25' long, and
meant to close the gap between the small Allan box and the long 32'
flat box. I don't know what happened with the tire last year but it
should be out this season. Also the log will be put up in a different
way that everyone will like and actually be able to use.
Elliot is going to be more of a boarder cross at the beginning of the
season. Mostly rollers, spines, small jumps, hips and that sort of
stuff. We may add some small metal up top later on. It's mainly to get
the little groms out of the intermediate park to reduce the snaking
that I saw happen all the time last year.
What else.... We're thinking of creating a "Build-to-Ride" program
where if we need to rebuild the park due to an ice storm or to give the
park an overhaul, we would look for volunteers to come help us for the
day and in exchange that person would get a lift ticket to use, or give
to a buddy, or sell for a couple of 30s... That's not a definate but
something we are considering to help reduce downtime and keep the park
in prime condition. Also, the park has been named to the "603". That
may chage slightly when a main sponsor comes on board but Freeride Zone
is no more."
