Help me win a ski design competition!

Hey NS, the Faction Ski Design submission finalists are up now, and I'm one of them!
Needless to say, I'm super stoked but I can't celebrate yet.
Here is where you guys come in;

I'm on Page 8.

It would be great if you could vote for my design by sending an email to:

with the name of your favorite design and my name, Daichi Ishikawa.

But, I know that many NSers have also submitted designs of their own, and I don't want to thwart them either, so vote for whoever you think is the best.

Also, this is how I'm going to pay you guys back: since I can't individually thank you, I'm going to write in every member's name that posts on here saying they voted for me on the skis that I will receive, and post a picture of it on here. It's the least I can do. That way I can thank you as long as I ride the skis and everyone will know I won it with the help of you guys.

I'm pretty sure the catalogue contains most of the entries they would have received, seeing as they say they got over 100 entries and there's about 60 individual people mentioned, most of whom have submitted multiple designs.

Nice designs man, yours were some of the ones I was more impressed with in there.  I've got an entry as well, far right on page 10 (Ian Houghton).  Good luck! :)

I especially like that tree root one kinda looks like something icelandic would come up with

I wanted to do this comp but I had to many design projects in which I would get paid. so the comp was lower priority :)

Nice designs you've got there, really one the best I think. You've must have worked your ass of with so many submissions. I only did one:P (Page 8. Even Dragsten, what you think?)

I honestly belive that you are going to win this, probably with the Ganja Queen, at least that's what I voted for. Anyway..good luck and may the best man win:)

way down there was a pair with a faction symbol in the center of a rising sun patter, looked just like fallen with the F and backwords F

whoa suprise bump!
yea, I was pretty bummed out when I learned I didn't win, but shit happens I guess.
I still can't really justify the amount of work I put into designing these skis, these have atleast 10 hours each on them, some twice that.

But its also given me some unexpected exposure and I've got a couple offers to design for some companies, and although only one has come through so far, its really been a great experience. If given the chance, I would definitely do some things different like spreading the word a bit later in the comp, but overall it gave me the chance to learn PS and AI so I guess it was worth it.
