T-halls chipping, a quick fix?

Behind my binding, a huge chunk of my topsheet lifted up from my edge hitting it while spinning. It was still connected to the ski though, just sort of lifted up. I can see the fibreclass stringers, and what appears to be wood. My shop will charge me 85$ to repair it, and it will take them a week or so. I am going on a trip to MSLM on wednesday(1 1/2 days) and i need to repair it. I have some marine epoxy kicking around. Should i use that? It says is good to -29 degrees C.Or should i use 5 minute epoxy. Like, just glob it into the gouge, fold the topsheet over, and clamp it? Any help/ ideas is great.

okay. And i should clamp it for a while..like a few hours, just to let it adhere? I have never done this before.

5 minute epoxy will work fine too, but I guess if you have that marin stuff layin around might as well go for that. did you buy your skis at that shop? even if you didn't 85 is pretty steep for a quick repair, good call not doin that. just slobber epoxy all over it and clamp it down overnight.

make sure you clamp it down for a while, a long while just to make sure
