ya I didn't want to blow out the shadows or highlights. I had my strobes in the car but this was such a spontaneous hit and in a monsterkill bust area so I didn't set them up.

ok here is what I have been up to lately in regards to work. This is a product shot for Lightrein's upcoming website. First is shot with 30D+70-200 2.8. The second shot shows the lighting and light modifiers used to get the first shot. It was shot with a digital rebel and sigma 10-20. If you have any questions feel free to ask :)

haha I try lol.
if you get it right in camera there is very little need for post processing. especially with studio lights. (that was shot natural light as you can tell) In studio, all I do is sharpen and convert to my output format using capture one pro.
