In another post I mention a friend that OD'd and how I think we should continue to fight the war on drugs. Here is what the piece of shit D-Loc had to say

I never wish bad luck on anyone but I hope to God you lose your job and sit there broke as a fucking joke. Yes my friend chose to take the drugs but if they weren't here in the first place it would have never have happened. Tell me how it feels when you lose a best friend to drugs, you piece of shit!

whats coming in to our country is not everything, alot is grown here so... we cant stop that.

yeah it trying to moderate the flow but it is failing miserably.

why do we need to spend $11 billion and not accomplish anything but to have more people on drugs? hahaha seems foolish to me even if they are just ryoing to regulate

naw you dont, noone does and thats why its pointless. sure you can stop all incomming someday but the flow inside is just as big. not as cheap but BIG.

all the studies done on how much stuff is around and how much money is spend is everything the gov knows about. but what about that lonely guy somewhere in a field of drugs? the gov doesnt know about him yet hes gonna produce enought to supply a whole state.

you see its never ending, sure their trying to moderate the flow im agreeing their. BUT ITS NOT WORKING. look at the stats from 98 then look at stats from '03. soo many more people do drugs is incredible. and thats what the gov knows about, who else has done them?

well sicne we have to sway the argument into your standards...with every reply you make. i would much rather have drugs be created in our country. i'd much rather have some american getting rich off of drug users than some one from a different country.

let see why to stop the WOD... which i have clearly stated about 15 times but here goes once more. oh and do a search and you will find a huge thread about all this from about a year ago. i havent chagned views at all.

where does teh $11 billion come from?

no one

whats hurt?
society, because you take out those drugs which is making mass money for dealers which in turn is used on everyday products. the money is put into society in the end, but no one wants to look at it like this.

remove WOD?
not spending 11 billion of americans money each year.
make drugs available in coffe shops and stores so the gov can profit off all the sales. in turn boosting the economy as a whole.
medication - pot is stated to be the most theraputic drug know with the least amount of harm. taht goes for any pill you take killing your liver. pot is somtimes the only way to not feel pain, such as glocoma. coke is being found now to also have good medical qualities, and could then be used to treat people.
prices would be reduced because no middle man is present since i can go to the store and buy it. better for the user in this case.
less crime, people constantly rob and steal to get a fix. because demand is high so are prices. if the gov regulated it less money would be needed to get more.
g-13 and other goverment stains are genitically engineered to have max THC content. one batch deemed so high they killed all crops. this would make intake less, allowing the user to smoke but a hit to get ripped instead of a few. cuts down on how much is needed to smoke in the end



drugs will always be around, why not profit off them from a gov point of stance. you aint stopping them so join them.

PEOPLE DIE!!!! 50 years ago at drug stores you could buy legal hard drugs. guess what, PEOPLE DIED!!! people were taking mediation that had coke it in, and some were getting better, but many others got addicted and DIED!!! babies died, parents died, gradparents died. all because coke has some medical value.

what about the drug nick-o-teen?
the boys and girls can be found everywhere. it properties include looking cool with it in ur hand or mouth, a bad cough, sore throat, and an addiction. now you dont get any side effect from this drug except lung cancer, emphasyema, mouth cancer, stained teeth, bad breath. you get absolutly NO high or NO hullucinagenic properties. so why you ask is this drug legal? well lets just say its the gov secret way of killing off 1000's of people each day. hey were over populated anyway

and what about that nasty drug we all know as Alcohol?
yes this too for some odd reason is 100% legal, if i might add are 21 or up. oh but the draft has started soo you know 18-20 you guys cant drink but your going to war, and probably going to die. its features include slurred speech, kick ass mentality, stumbling, dehydration, black out's, stupidity, and a go get her mentality. Yes, pot is a drug. Yes, it hinders the brain. No, it has not shown to cause any permanent damage UNLESS one is exposed to incredibly high levels of cannabinoids. The drug causes the brain to slow down for a period of time. It takes a total of 5 hours usually for the brain and motor functions to return to normal. I personally do not believe that pot should be legalized. I do on the other hand believe it should be decriminalized. 11.8 billion dollars for the war on drugs? Give me a break. The reason pot was illegalized in the first place? During the prohibition, people needed something cheap to satisfy their craving for adventure. Pot was just the thing. Then congress repealed the 18th amendment which states that intoxicating drinks are illegal. The liquor companies discovered that people were beginning to enjoy pot more than their drinks, so they began producing anti-ganja movies and such. These movies showed people getting high, then commiting sensless acts of murder and rape against other innocent people. These movies outraged the general public causing them to go straight to congress and demand that the drug be illegalized. Thus it was. Until the 1940s when we went to war, then it was legalized again for a short time as a victory crop. Ignorance is what has made pot illegal not its 'threat to the welfare of the person smoking it'. This is just what DARE wanted you to believe in the 6th grade.

So...you think people should still not be able to legally buy it, but not get punished for possessing it? What is the point of it still being illegal then? And I am very well aware of why it was made illegal in the first place. I've smoked pot to kid, I know exactly what it does to you. Don't you go thinking that I'm one of those clueless strait edge kids. I am just don't think it that big of a deal. Sure, you use the argument that pot isn't as bad as other drugs, but it is still bad for you. In terms of heath weed actually holds a similar spot as alcohol. You are cool as long as you drink/smoke responsibly. I am actually impartial to whether weed is legal or not. I however do not think drugs things should be legal as well. These others are illegal for a GOOD reason. They pose a health risk to the public. How can you argue with that?

to answer your question, i do know what nanotechnology is; atoms organized(or rearranged) to perform complicated instructions. You can make a supercomputer the size of a molecule or atom, a cell phone for an ant, and an atom that travels and takes small pictures. It doesnt make you or I smart at all, all you do is read the book 'prey' to have basic concepts of it down(and even more complicated ones)
