Last weekend we went up to Echo to shoot one last time before the mountain closed.  We had Jon Hartman, Pat Goodnough, Carrie Rossman, and the Utah crew consisting of LJ Strenio, Brady Perron, Witt Foster, and our newest athlete Mr. Steve Stepp, aka the Green Goblin.  Before we met at Echo, Jon called me and told me to meet him at a top secret spot above the area.  After stumbling around looking for it, I heard some true gangster music blasting through the trees, and soon found the crew sessioning a sick fallen tree.

If you haven't heard of Brady Perron yet, you will soon.  He's been blowing up this year.

After we got enough shots on the tree, we went back to Echo to meet up with the rest of the crew.  Schmitty showed up and we got to work on the quarterpipe.  It quickly turned into a handplant-fest.









Everyone was handplanting except for LJ, who proceeded to throw some lofty flatspins for everyone's enjoyment.

After all that we decided to head back to Boulder, but in the parking lot I challenged LJ to flip over these giant poles.  Never one to back down from a challenge, LJ nailed it, meaning I couldn't turn down his challenge later.  But that raw egg wasn't as bad as you'd think.



It was another great day with the funnest team in skiing, and I can't wait to see these guys killing it at Mt. Hood.  Big thanks to Ian Kirkpatrick and Schmitty for the awesome photos.  And thanks to Chris Harris and Marc Moline at Echo for being such generous hosts.
