What's up NS? We are Colorado FreeSkier coming to you live from Crested
Butte, Colorado. We are your full service ski shop supplying all your
Newschool needs. Check us out at
www.coloradofreeskier.com!Deciding they had only one more winter hoorah left in their systems, the CFS team left Crested Butte late Friday night and drove to Breckenridge. A stinky-pants incident occured on the way to Breck...

...and even though head roadie Scotty swore it was BBQ, no one beleived him.
Saturday morning turned out sunny and, with the sweet smell of partying in the air, A-Basin was prime for a perfect late May throwdown with the Jiberish crew at the helm!

We had two goals in mind:
1. Make our presence known at the rail jam
2. Party down Def Leppard style for the Jiberish party at the base
Both were well accomplished ~ thanks A-Basin and Jiberish!
After a few park laps...

...we went to check out the free rail jam with team riders: Steve
Florentine, Jonny "Scrizz" Scott, Alex Albers, and Drew VanGorder. The
setup consisted of two flat hand rails, a C-Box and a twenty foot up
box, which became our focus of the jam.

Albers 270
All the elements were flowing: Steve and Scrizz 270 on and off the hand rails early, Albers
going for 450 on 270 off, and Drew VanGorder was working on what he
does best: pressin' while showing off his CFS pride:

The rail jam was a one hour open jam session - hit and hike the
rails as many times as you want and the judges may be watching... what the CFS crew soon realized was that both of the judges were standing in snowboard boots (with raging
boners) and we knew what they were looking at: hot. snowboard. dudes.
Hand rails are fun, but with creative minds and wanting to huck
(naturally being from Crested Butte) the boys went after the up box.
This is when things got a bit crazy, you had to skate from the top
of the rail park to get the speed needed, so Alex Albers went ahead and
went cork 630 off!

SteveFlo not wanting to be outdone went Frontflip 90 off, Then Misty 630 off!

Always the king of style Scrizz with the Dub Grab 270

Steve attempted to handplant the top of the up box, but landed on his head

Comp over. The guys were tired and I was hungry, so we headed down to the Jiberish BBQ with the dopest Reggae DJ - Uplifter.
There was free beer flowing from Flying Dog

The Jiberish guys ~ Pete, Gabe and Dave all brought in a chef to make the best jamaican jerk chicken I have ever tasted
Big Thanks to them for a sweet party!

Then we saw this sweet ass kid in a superhero costume

On the way back, CB local Scott Swear was also forcibly thrown in the
Arkansas River, cuz he is moving back to Arkansas and we thought it was
appropriate.
I hope you enjoy our first team update as we will have more coming

Oh and Neville, sorry about the tagging!
