Kaya here reporting from whistler, BC! Damn summer is crazy up here!! People always told me summer up here was the best time but I never checked it out. This year, after having spent most of winter doing rehab at home in Montreal since I hurt my knee, I decided to come out here and ski up at Momentum camp and coach a bit too. To say the least, it's DOPE! I am having wayy too much fun out here. I snatched myself the dopest place right in the village with one of my best friends and it's just been skiing, skating and just chillin daily!

Up on the glacier there's some really sick stuff going on and I've been riding tons at Momentum. The setup there and the coaching and digging crew is like theee best and it's been so much fun up there every day. The kids are having an amazing time too with coaches everyone dreams of being coached by like Sarah Burke, TJ, and Colby West. I know if i was a camper i'd be STOKED! We go up there every day pretty early, ski all day, load down and then do some fun activities like paintball (and i've seen some guys like Colby and Peter just totally covered in big blotchy bruises cuz campers got em so good haha!). Camp of Champs has also been cool enough to hook me up with a pass so I got to ride over there a bit which was also super sick. Hard decisions as to where to ride!

At the end of this sesh, since I was coaching, I went to the end of session bbq and watched the campers do this crazy competition. It all started with them having to crab walk up the hill (starting in a horse kennel with crap everywhere..mmm) and then running up part of the hill only to get to a nice mixture of who knows what in some cups that had be drunk. Kids were chugging, puking, chugging some more and it was just gross (but hilarious)! Congrats to the winner cuz that takes some courage!!

This week I finally started to jump again and knee is feelin good! Feel like im finally on the road back which is great. Sammy came with Tommy Elingston (now his coach) and skiing around with them was also lil 11 year old Willie who's been killin it! The salo crew is pretty strong up at Momentum with those guys and Alexis Godbout, Paul Bergeron and Dane Tudor all killin it. Summer is ending soon and I'm kinda bummed, it passed soo fast. Time flies when you're having fun i guess! Soon after I get home I'm off to NZ with some salo peeps which I am super stoked about! By then I should be at my prime and it's time to get some ish done!!

Well I gotta get goin, "Christmas in July" party tonight! Gotta start wrapping myself in ribbon haha. Ill get some pics for you guys!
