Overall
Gloriously impressed but the performance of this camera. Would absolutely recommend this camera. Very good bang for your buck. Only negative thing i found was the zooming problem in camera to see if an image is sharp.
Performance
I have nothing to complain about. I am generally a Canon user, but i figured i better learn Nikon to have a broad field, so if i were to ever asked to use certain equipment, i would be set. That being said, i have found little, to no fault in the performance of this camera. I really enjoy the feature being that there is a particular button specifically for auto focusing of the lens. Unlike lower performance camera which means you don't have to focus every single time you take a shot, so if something is in the same position, you don't have to focus again.
Design
Buttons are placed at appropriate places, although zooming to photos to see if they are sharp, is the only problem i can see in the design. The designated auto focus button conveniently placed for easy access use.
Value
I didn't have to buy it, luckily, although i new i am sure you can find it for $900ish new, and most likely $700 used, craiglist is a great place to look. But the performance for price its a great camera, although i have only used it for a month i would easily consider this to any photographer doing freelance. Also great camera for any ski photography, as it has high enough FPS to do sequences.
Durability
I have not dropped it, nor do i intend to (knock on wood) but kids just don't drop you camera.
Quality
I have been using this baby, for just over a month. Quality wise this is about a middle class of pro DSLR cameras. Besides from not having top of the line sensor, or motor, this camera is pretty much as good as you get.
