Overall
I rated this product an eight because it is an all mountain cruiser which is where I'd like to think of myself as a skier. I tend to ski through the park and hit jumps as opposed to spend the majority of my day there. It's been stated a few times but if you're looking for one ski, this is it. While it may not be ideal for slaying rails in the park, it is one of the most fun skis to ski on groomers around the mountain and in the trees. Definitely worth checking out!
Performance
This ski is an all mountain machine. I kept telling friends, "All I want to do is cruise on these." It's a Cadillac. So smooth in and out of turns. Very responsive in the trees and on the groomers. Not the greatest park ski but that's not what it's marketed to be. You can ski the entire mountain but I prefer to use them specifically in the trees, on groomers, and powder (when the east makes it available)
Design
As stated in performance, the ski is incredible all over the mountain. As to the graphics, they could do better. With a name like "Hazmat" some sort of bio chemical design had to be used but maybe in the future Liberty could throw something more original that a biohazard logo on the tip.
Value
Liberty sent me these skis to ride so I can not speak to the value of them but they tend to retail for $500 which is reasonable for all the places these skis can be used. If you only can afford one pair of skis and are not park heavy, these skis are for you.
Fit
181 is the perfect size for me as I'm about 6'1"
Characteristics
A stiff ski with a fun flex pattern.
Durability
Top sheet is already chipping which I've been informed directly from Liberty will happen though this issue has been fixed, according to Liberty, for the 08/09 release.
