Overall
The JFC (JF Cusson) pro model suit is the best one in Sunice's lineup if you ask me. The blue is an amazing colour, and you'll for sure get noticed wearing this bad boy. It comes in a dark grey as well, which you could probably wear out to a nice dinner if it was cold... The pinstripe suit gets you zillions of comments too, so you get to make lots of jokes to your parents friends about how you like to look professional when you ski.
Sunice has offered a solid piece for their upcoming revamp, so if you happen to see this suit out there, but it before your buddies do!
Performance
Thus far the performance has been great. It was waterproof (though I didn't get to use it in a torrential downpour), windproof and breathable. Both jacket and pants are just a shell, so don't be expecting any warmth, you need to layer properly. This is for sure going to be my suit for glacier skiing though, it fits the bill perfectly.
Design
The #1 thing about this suit is the colour. Felix told me that they spent two and a half weeks straight just trying to get the colour right, and you can notice it. THe colour stands out like crazy, but isn't too bright that it looks obnoxious. Stands out amazing in photos and your friends will always be able to pick you out from a distance. The material is nice too... not just cloth and not like nylon, it feels nice to the touch.
The music pocket is designed so well. The pocket is accessable from the outside, but underneath the main flap up the zipper so its protected. There's hole that lets your headpohones go inside, so if you need to change tracks you don't have to take your whole jacket off.
Overall the assortment of pockets and knick-knacks is well thought out and not too gimmicky.
Fit
Sunice has managed to make a suit that fits well. It isn't gimmicky either way, being overly big or overly small, it just fits well. The cut has some shape to it as well, so it certainly isn't boring... the jacket doubles nicely if you're heading out on the town and need som ereal protection, but want to wear something cool.
Durability
The material is certianly tough, and as my most worn suit this year it didn't show any signs of wear. The only two problems were that one of the clips on the hood draw string ripped off, and that the inner cuff around the boot got destroyed really quickly. Felix Rioux who is the man behind the scenes at Sunice assured me that they know about both of those problems and will have them fixed when it goes into production next year.
