But I have some serious issues with WAR. Throwing in actual war footage is completely out of line and unnecessary. I'm not sure when PBP decided it was cool to show old and new war footage where Americans and others probably ended up dying in some of these clips. These clips aren't being shown in the historical context of an educational program such as the History Channel, they are being shown because the producers of this film think it's cool.

I also object to injection of an obvious poltical agenda into a ski movie. I would like Johnny D to go to Aushwitz or talk to somebody who survived it if he or she thinks war isn't good for "absolutely nothing." The harsh truth is that sometimes it is necessary. If PBP wants to make an anti-war movie maybe they can team up Michael Moore for his next flick. Otherwise I suggest they keep politics out of skiing.
