East Coast NS'ers, listen up! Newschoolers is stoked to announce that we'll be rolling into to Loon, NH on January 17th for a weekend of shredding and good times before Sunday's Knock Out comp. We're bringing out a big crew of riders, writers and photographers to ski, shoot and have fun. We want to get as many NS'ers out there to share in the stoke, so cancel your appointments and head for Loon!
To give you an idea, our itinerary looks a little something like this:
Friday night (17th): The NS crew will be driving down from Montreal to kick things off with a beer or twelve... Check this thread for hourly updates!
Saturday(18th): Come register and get your photo with the coveted drama llama head from 8-10:30am in the Paul Bunyan Room. We'll then meet you all at the top of the park at 11am for an afternoon of sessions & giveaways on various features in the park.
Saturday Night: Party down! Shenanigans are a given. LIVE MUSIC: The Wondermic's perform live at the Paul Bunyan Room (slopeside at Loon) 8:30pm. No Cover. 21+
Sunday(19th): Knock Out. This Dumont Cup qualifier will be judged by myself and a couple others. Peter Cirilli will be around shooting photos all day, and the Tabarnak Pack's Mike Dandurand will be putting together a small recap edit of the weekend as well.
If you're in the area, you should definitely come check this out. Loon is even offering specially-priced lift tickets for NS members on Saturday. These are ONLY available at the Paul Bunyan Room from 8-10:30am.
