As some of you may or may have not noticed... we have just launched version 1 of our iPhone app. 

This has been a long time in development, and I can't thank Adam and Ian enough for all their hard work on it. 

Notice that we took a different approach to this.   Yes, the app is a paid app, so you're going to have to shell out for it... but we kept it ad-free.   Bottom line, we had to hook up Adam as he put an unthinkable amount of work into this thing.

I'm stoked at trying this model of development out, and am really excited to see your guys opinions on it, as well as the adoption rate. 

Anyways, big shout out to Adam and Ian for all their hard work.    Couldn't have gotten here without you guys.

I have an idea for how we can open links.
if you could just make it so we can copy links we can just use multitasking to go to safari and paste the link in safari?

When we returned to iNS it would be back to the login screen, though. You'd have to make iNS remember where you were...

We know you're super busy, but this stuff would be really awesome, and we'd all be really thankful.

After updating my phone, everytime somebody posts and doesn't quote something, it shows the quote bubble and it says (null), and even some actual quotes say (null), and the (null) overlaps into the post above, and pictures either; A. Don't load, or B. Go giant and block half the page from view.

I stopped using iNS long ago. I tollerated the (null) for a day, then just gave up. Safari really is great though. You can watch all the videos, reply to texts, answer calls, open links, and go right back to where you were.

I read that you guys are busy but the "null" and "overlap" problems are insanely annoying.

Fixing this and adding clicable links and not being warped back to the login screen would make iNS so much better.

Sorry, I know that there have been problems with the app. This is due to us just being swamped with some backend revisions of the site, and I promise we will address the issues soon.

Please for the time being just sit tight, and we'll get it sorted out.

thank god i decided to check this thread. i just bought an iphone 3GS and was worried why everything was so screwed up on my iNS. Glad to know that things are being sorted out!

I love this app, but it could use some updates. They've been covered, but i second The overlap 'null' And notifications would be nice maybe links could be clickable (mainly YouTube vids)? Either way thank you Adam for making NS portable.

I just bought it and it won't even process my login correctly. I'm on my phone though so I used safari to come here and search the issue and I noticed there was a mobile ns now. The mobile site work great!

now it wont let me log in either. it says i have the wrong password or username. but when i go on my computer it works fine. not sure if this is a glitch or what but i have re installed the app several times and no difference/

anyone else have this problemo?

yeah that happened to me, i was actualy worried that somebody hacked my account and changed my password, but it was the app not working

if you add everything mobile NS does that would be perfect, the app is faster/easier to use

but I can make due with mobile NS until this is done so take your time to make it good!

Quick update: Nearly everything is working for iOS4 and 3.0. The reason login isn't working is because NS changed a small bit of how their site loads. The weird overlapping of text and the NULL quoting is due to something silly Apple decided to change.

Quick question I'd appreciate a response to. I'm beginning the design phase of iNS 2, which I'm sure you'll be very happy with. How many of you are on limited data plans? e.g. 500 MBs/month. I'm thinking about adding some low bandwidth functionality, but need to know how many people would benefit.

My problem is that I can't log in, I am absolutely positive about my log in info, and I even logged out of it on my computer and on safari on my iPod, is this happening for anyone else?
